SUMMER THEATRE CAMP FOR KIDS!!
Opening Nite Theatre is excited to offer a children's summer acting day camp program for the 2024 summer season! Aspiring young actors will take part in a 5-day theatre camp, which will start with an idea, end with an original show, and in between we'll explore a huge range of theatre arts along the way! Everything from creating characters, acting, movement, improv, set making, lights, music...got a talent? We'll use it! Wanna learn? We'll try it out! Then we'll take everything we've learned, and put together an exciting production for family and friends on the final day! Theatre experience is not a requirement for this camp.
Fees are $125 per camper, per session. There is limited registration, so call now to enroll! Camps run Monday to Friday, 10am - 3pm.

This season, there will be two camp sessions offered:
Session 1 July 15-19 - “Addison's Magical Hat” - Join the adventures of Addison and her friends as
they discover a magical hat in the attic of an eccentric aunt. The plot is thick, and surprises abound in
this original play! Ages 9 -12
Session 2 July 29- August 2 Improv Comedy Camp! - In the style of “Whose Line is it Anyway”
we'll explore hilarity in many improvisational styles! Ages 13- 16
Each camp will spend mornings doing theatre games, improv, and stage technique, then a break for lunch, followed by afternoons developing and rehearsing our original production for the end of the week. Hours run from 10am-3pm
